Meet Pam Snyder, DVM
Dr. Snyder is a native of Hagerstown, MD. She graduated from North Hagerstown High School in 1984 and received her B.A. in Biology from Hood College in 1988. Dr. Snyder attended vet school at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. After graduation in 1993, she worked for one year at the Humane Society of Washington County, two years at Waxsaw Animal Hospital in North Carolina, and then for 13 years, at Franklin Veterinary Associates in Greencastle, PA.
Dr. Snyder shares her home with her husband, Jamie and daughters, Addison (20) and Marlie (18). Her other "family" members include Odi (hound/shep mix), Nellie (little Aussie mix), felines Tulip and Willow, and eight dairy goats, Esther, Eve, Ezra, Ezekiel, Mercy, Selah, Micah and Naomi. The family recently added two standard size donkeys to the gang, Doc and Jackson.
It has always been Dr. Snyder's desire to spend quality time with her clients and patients. A mobile practice allows her the flexibility and time for thorough evaluations, client education and questions.
